Ascension

Death doth not bring me death:
I will only rise,
Be welcomed to Glory's halls,
Winged maidens sounding their horns.
My time is not now;
Many more must my blade fell.

Hitherto many have fallen,
Fallen but not dead;
Their deeds scorch the land
As fire across a sheep's coat.
Raise a stein to our brethren
Who have already ascended.
