Closing Prayer to Nerthus
We give thanks
to the Great Goddess Nerthus,
Goddess of the land,
of soil, dirt and growing things,
Goddess too of the scythe
and of the sacrifice.
Beautiful and terrible,
wise in Your power,
We praise You.
We thank You, Nerthus
for Your many blessings.
We ask for Your grace
and favor as we move into Fall.
Hail, Nerthus, Mother of the Vanir.
Hail Nerthus, Divine Queen.
