Evening Prayer to Mani
Hail the rising of the Moon,
Beautiful God, sensual singer of the night's blessings,
Sometimes hidden, sometimes bright,
You watch over us,
Taking your place in the heavens,
Following the path your sister daily treads.
Bless me, Mani.
Take from me the ichor of the day's efforts,
Wash me in your healing light,
Clothe me in your comforting darkness.
Embrace me, my beautiful God,
And whisper what secrets You would
Into my waiting ears
That I may find in the night's embrace
Sanctuary.
