Hail to Mine Fathers
Hail to mine fathers, who are
in Valhalla.
Give strength to mine prayers,
And let them be heard in the Hall
By all the Gods who I serve.
Let this man not die in a house of sickness;
Instead let him go, surrounded by
family,
With his forebears calling to him
From his honored place among the gods,
As a warrior should be.
For this I pray to you,
To let my prayers come to pass.
