Hark the Heathen Folk               Hark the Heathen Folk - MP3    MIDI
Tune: "Hark the Herald"                        Hark the Heathen Folk - Sheet Music

Hark the Heathen folk shall say:
Greetings give to Ingvi-Freyr.
As the year wheel turns at last
Snow and sleet shall soon be past.
Darkness deep will turn to day,
Winter´s woe shall wend away,
Kith and kin come now to sing,
Freyr and Freya blessings bring.
Hark the Heathen folk shall say:
Greetings give to Ingvi-Freyr.

Mark the Yuletide of the year,
Gather, greet and give good cheer.
Hallowed be each hof and hall,
Hail the Holy Disir all.
Fill the horn and honour kin,
Welcome weal and wights within,
Wand'rer wend here through the dark,
Blessing bring and joy impart.
Hark the Heathen folk shall say:
Greetings give to Ingvi-Freyr.
