I have many different names yet I am the same
I am strong and keen

I have been born and died reborn again
I am the feeder of ravens

I have lived in every country in the world
I am the wound-hoe

I have attacked myself
I am broad and heavy

I have defended against myself
I am nimble and light

I have destroyed myself
I am lost to Frey

I have saved life
I am Nimue’s gift

I have lived with Kings
I am short for some

I have lived with peasants
I am long for others

I have been Man’s only friend
I am the killer of Man
