Jormundgand's Breath

It is to the serpent I pray,
Who girds the world
against dissolution.
I call it true:
Jormundgandís breath,
the thick fog rising
from the mighty oceanís body
that heralds Your presence
resting beneath,
the unknowable currents of
of Aegirís realm.
It is a comfort.

You cannot be known,
Serpent-child,
sired by Asgardís cunning and fiery God
on a Warrior of untold might.
But You can indeed be honored.
