Jul

We worship the deer, the ram, the moose, especially the horse
We decorate the tree with plaited gorse

Once the mistletoe gave death to Baldr and the sun
But now the new year has begun

We celebrate and drink ale or mead
Our friends and family is all we need

The fire will burn once more
We tell some legends, tragedies and lore

We celebrate that the days will be longer
And hope that we all get a bit stronger

Twelve nights ain't daughters of the moon
We will sing and dance so boon

Eleven days ain't sons of the sun
But we will have a lot of fun
