Kvasir

Kvasir, Wise One,
treaty´s son
of Aesir and Vanir,
Sharing One -

New on my path,
I seeking did pray
to you first of all, Odhr:
"Show me the way!"

Your life-blood you´d lost
to envy and greed,
as you shared precious knowledge,
selfless indeed.

Beyond death reaches
your life´s elixir,
brought back as poetry:
Hail, Odhroerir!
