Rumbles Come

Rumbles come; Great Thunder knocking
A feline rub; Purr lightens the soul
Campfire rises; It beckons, It stings
Eagle shrieks; Prey shudders below

Ravens watch; Indigo listeners
Squirrel Darts; Hurried message departs
Ancient Ash creaks; Long branches sway
Silent Pool ripples; Mirage under surface

Unnatural Nature; Mysteries All
Dismissed or noticed; They care little
Grander than man; Songs of the knots
Vibrate with life just out of view

Ancestors words travel by wind
Dance in ear; A hummingbird's buzz
Shadowy figures, too little light
Tinker away, Common man blind

Call out if you’ll see them
Turn ear to Their songs
Or live in oblivion
In another man’s rhymes

Walk tall in their wisdom
Hold tight to dear friends
Or crawl in silent choice
From birth to the pall

Celebrate giving
Stand strong to the storm
Or bend like the willow
Admired by none

Rumbles come; Great Thunder knocking
A feline rub; Purr lightens the soul
Campfire rises; It beckons, It stings
Eagle shrieks; Prey shudders below
