Seasons Change
An Offering of words to Uller

1st stave (stanza) repeated as the
Burden (chorus) of each song.

Bow Lord, Oath Ward, Marker of Bounds
Ill-bane, Shieldburst, Runner on Bones
Keeper of Lore, Hard Time Wise One
Send us the thoughts, to keep us whole

Old Father sends us, wisdom to wield
Knowledge and strength, Clan Weal to build
Keeping our Kin, Kith, Friends and Garth
Safe from the harm, winter may bring

The fall to Fall, has come again
A time for Folk, to gather wealth
Of field and fold, of wood and sea
Against the deep, of winter's cold

Burden

Farmers, Hunters, both have a part
In keeping whole, health of the Folk
Fruit of the earth, meat of the beasts
Eldest Huntsman, smiles on both

Bakers and Cooks, take this raw stuff
And make it Food, stuff fit for feast
Brewers likewise, create good Drink
Completing All, that which we need

Burden

Standing at Blót, Thanksgiving Day
Kine and swine slain, all gain their share
Gods are Well-Worthed, Folk are well fed
Fine Meat and Drink, Hallowed and Good

Afterwards Folk, sit round the Hearth
Listen to Skald, telling the Tales
Of Holy Ones, Their lessons true
Wisdom to gain, to better selves

Burden

Far flung are Folk, of Northern Blood
Around Midgard, in skies beyond
Far Traveled we, upon our world
Far Traveled He, around the Nine

Old Father sends us, wisdom to wield
Knowledge and strength, Clan Weal to build
Keeping our Kin, Kith, Friends and Garth
Safe from the harm, winter may bring
