This Is How We Die

Listen my son, my brave little warrior
And listen well, because this is how we die
Within a great and glorious battle
A fierce sword will crash down upon you.
But your shield will be held tight, and your sword held high
For this is how we die.
But trust in the Gods, my son
And trust in them well, with your swords at your side
Because this is not the end, for we will meet again.
In the Halls of Valhalla, wait with heroes,
Brothers that have died.
And Odin’s table is where we will meet once more
With the warriors of ancient time
But don’t be sad my son,
For this is our destiny
To die in battle with sword in hand
And to see the Halls of Valhalla
Where the brave can live forever.
