The Rider´s Call
Black plumage
A croaking song
Of age-old lays
Holds me captive
I will follow you now
Choice I have none
I want to know
Who commended me to you
Up on that hill
I follow the call
Rider standing in stirrups
on eightfold hoof
What would he want
I wonder aloud
Everything´s silent
I hear no sound
I know little of you
Just ancient legends
Are you the As God-King
From days long lost?
The call of your crows
To Aesir and Vanir
I could not resist
The way of the forebears
One-Eye, Wise One, Seeker
Greybeard, Broadhat, Hangatyr
Host-Leader, Allfather, Wanderer
Raven-God - I am here.
