The Tree of the World

The Tree of the World is rotting
It's once bright leaves fell long ago
Often times I wish
That I was the one with the axe
I would maul its soft trunk
and rip up its roots
I'd pull it all down
Then light the refuse
And then, for good measure
I'd unzip my pants
and take a good leak
upon its black ash
But then I would dig
a very small hole
where I'd plant a small seed
and let it regrow
stronger than before
Brighter as well
It's branches in Heaven
its roots down in Hell
There it will stand
For the rest of all time
I hope it will last
Let there not be blight
