Winter Grieving
I
have walked this shadowed road
Hid in concealment of the moon
Deep within, a heavy load
Upon my heart a sorrowed tune
Abject went I there, and grieving
Remnants of my soul still burned
Only agony perceiving
No matter what I did or learned.
Hail thee, coming by my path!
For men rejoice in fellow men
Like breeze that ends a stormwind's wrath,
Not knowing what will happen then...
A mournful spirit in the wild,
All knowledge earned, a curse,
Bear witness, comrade of my way--
My soul burns with each verse.
