A Kindredīs Anniversary Song                   A Kindredīs Anniversary Song - MP3 (0,7 MB)

                                                                          Sheet Music

Written for the ninth anniversary of the Netherlandian Kindred "Het Rad" (The Wheel).

Feel free to adapt it for yourself by substituting kindred name and number.

For nine years now Het Rad has met,
nine times the wheel has turned;
our Gods and faith to celebrate,
nine times our Yule-fires burned.

Chorus:
So hail to those who went before,
and kinfolk of today,
and hail the ones that yet will come
to follow our way.

We have been standing strong and true
a time both short and long;
much have we done, and more will do
in word and deed and song.

Chorus:
So hail to those who went before,
and kinfolk of today,
and hail the ones that yet will come
to follow our way.

So bless us Aesir, bless us Vanes,
that prosper well we may;
Het Rad is moving on and on,
tomorrow and today.
