Bring Us Good Mead           Bring Us Good Mead MP3
                                          Bring Us Good Mead MIDI
Bring Us Good Ale Sheet Music

Chorus:

Bring us in good mead, good mead, and bring us in good mead,
For our Lady Friggaīs sake, bring us in good mead.

Bring us in no brown bread, for that is hard to chew,
Nor bring us in no white bread, for itīs not good for you,
But bring, etc.

Bring us in no chicken, for there are many bones,
But bring us in good mead, for that goes down at once.
And bring, etc.

Bring us in no beefsteak, for it will make us mad,
But bring us in good mead, and give us enough of that.
And bring, etc.

Bring us in no mutton, for that is passing lean,
Nor bring us in no fishes, for they be seldom clean.
But bring, etc.

Bring us in no eggs, for there are many shells,
But bring us in good mead, and give us nothing else.
But bring, etc.

Nor bring us in no butter, for thatīs just fat and goo,
Nor bring us in no pig's flesh for they are fatty too,
But bring, etc.

Bring us in no puddings, for thatīs too rich a fare,
Nor bring us in no venison, for it is very rare.
But bring, etc.

Bring us in no turkey, for that is often dear,
Nor bring us in no duck's flesh, for they slobber in the mere.
But bring, etc.
