~ Poetry by me ~

Questions

Odin, what have you sacrificed?
Your life for some letters to read?
Your eye for a sip of water?
Your bliss with Gunnlod for mead?

Odin, what have you broken?
Sigmund“s sword when he needed it sore?
Hearts betrayed of promises spoken?
And more than one oath you swore?

To you, those who love you are fey
to die by the noose and by sword,
to delay Ragnarok one more day -
Is it worth it, Odin, my Lord?
