~ Poetry by me ~

Way to Work

The early birds are startled
by the steeple´s bell,
its metal tongue disrupting
the morning´s quiet spell.

Above, the crows wing on
through the ocean of the sun,
and all of Odin´s children
to their heart´s desire come.
