And the Wind Howled

She sat out alone
On a cold and windswept hill
She knew in her heart
She’d earn wisdom if it was his will

And the wind howled
Echoing across the field
And the wind howled
She could feel Odin draw near

She closed her eyes
And she listened to the wind
Runes she could hear
And a magical journey began

And the wind howled
Echoing across the field
And the wind howled
She could feel Odin draw near

Her soul it did soar
For it was longing to be free
Her heart was on fire
For the vision she wanted to see

And the wind howled
Echoing across the field
And the wind howled
She could feel Odin draw near

She saw a land
A place where our folk did live free
Her heart it was warmed
For the future that she knew would be

And the wind howled
Echoing across the field
And the wind howled
She could feel Odin draw near
