A Prayer For My Beads
For the 'Beads of the Gods' created by two great friends!
Odin, watch over me,
Frigga, watch over me,
Thor, protect me,
Sif, ward me within,
Frey, renew my spirit,
Freyja, renew my heart,
Njord, renew my body
Skadhi, renew my strength,
Loki, renew my laughter,
Sigyn, renew my compassion,
Aegir, renew my passion,
Ran, grant me temperance,
Bragi, grant me words,
Idunna, grant me health,
Tyr, grant me victory when needed,
Ostara, renew my lust for life,
Ullr, bless my hands,
Nerthus, bless my home and lands,
Balder, light the way to Hel, for those that have gone before,
Hel, grant me rest and comfort,
Gerd, grant me rest in the gardens of the Earth.
My gods, I ask that you hear my prayer,
Protect my family,
Watch over our kindred,
As I remain faithful to our way,
I twist this bead through my hands,
And from my mouth send fragrant words to the worlds above,
Hail my beloved Gods!
Hail my friends,
Hail my closest companions,
I hail you again and again!
