A Song
You sit there and you tell me
That all our hope is lost
That’s something I just can’t accept
No matter what the cost
Chorus (2x):
We are heathen, we are strong
We are proud, our line is long
Stretching all the way back to the gods
From where we all do come
You sit there and you tell me
We’re in an awful plight
But the problems that we face today
You’re just too weak to fight
Chorus (2x)
I sit here and I tell you
That all our hope’s not lost
We simply need to claim again
The beauty that we’ve lost
Chorus (2x)
I sit here and I tell you
That all our hope’s not lost
We simply need to gain again
The honor that we’ve lost
Chorus (2x)
I sit here and I tell you
That all our hope’s not lost
We once again will build our tribes
No matter what the cost
Chorus (2x)
