Blood on the Ground

There´s a place Nerthus show us her womb.
She is bride to the sea god, her groom.
There´s a place where white birches grow strong.
In their leaves, the goddess whispers her song.

Amber and Gold, forever you hold,
We return what was given to us.
And there´s blood on the ground,
Where the body sinks down,
We return what was given to us.

There´s a place where we lead fettered lord.
His life given, our harvest will ward.
There´s a gift we give back to the earth.
His death brings to us our rebirth.

Amber and Gold, forever you hold,
We return what was given to us.
And there´s blood on the ground,
Where the body sinks down,
We return what was given to us.
