Grimnir
The fire flickers
Madly flames leap
Hot art thou fire
Away do keep
Horn brought forth
For an ill-treated guest
The young one wise
In manners and custom
From the flames hear
That ancient voice
Wisdom brought forth
In tale and song
The young one learns
Listens with attentive ear
The fire flickers
A sword half-sheathed
True terror revealed
With one hurried step
A new king takes the throne
Naught remains but flame.
