Honour unto Death

In that great hall of silence
a holy place of rest
a horn of mead awaits
the dying, honourable one

In grief were the loved ones
for a son departing
what tragedy for a mother
and despair for a brother

A life of honour
our hero has chosen
with honour unto the dying hour
he lives, once again

And so, in flames
they bathed a devoted son
for a great and long journey
to Hel's sacred hall
