Nerthus

Her features are the frailty of the widow´s web
Hers are eyes of black raven´s hue
Her song on the wind makes sadness ebb
Tears from her eyes are the morning dew
Snow is this mysterious creature´s silken attire
The waters are her sweetest kiss
Her caress is wondrous bliss
Her smile is the pervasive passion of dawn
The smell of her perfume is my happiest endeavour
Her love is the gentle timidness of the fawn
In my dreams, she is forever
Her dance is the aspen forest in mid fall
How might I resist her wondrous call
