To Fate

Mistakes were made
A work betrayed
A song frozen in time
The notes that fell down from the sky
Have blinded both your eyes
The winters cold has set its grip
and I shiver in the dark
Chanting prayers to hidden gods
'Cause the trickster made his mark
Whatever will be,
I'll let the Three
Who dwell down
at root of all
To set this act within this play
In whatever rise or fall
To fit the scheme thats meant to be
In goodness or in bad
I'll ride this wave upon sea-steed
To Fate, I drink this mead!
